Birchwood Law is pleased to announce that Daniel Egan has joined the firm as an Associate Attorney, effective June 9, 2026.
About Daniel Egan
Daniel Egan brings a strong academic background in law and a distinctive pre-law career to the Birchwood Law team.
Egan earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law in 2023, graduating Cum Laude. During law school, he served as a staff editor for the UIC Review of Intellectual Property Law, contributed as a co-author to the DePaul Issues in Aviation Law & Policy journal, and worked with the UIC Veterans Legal Clinic, which provides legal assistance to veterans on benefits claims, discharge upgrades, and related service-connected matters.
Prior to law school, Egan completed a Washington Semester Program in Global Economics and Business at American University and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from St. Norbert College, where he graduated in 2015. At St. Norbert, he was a Division III All-American football player, served as a club president, and worked as a peer tutor.
